This personal safety course is designed by Raider Tactical with your comprehensive safety in mind. While there are many personal defense tools, pepper spray is one of the most used less than lethal weapons. One strategy for self defense is to maintain distance. Pepper spray tactics easily employ that strategy, allowing a person to deescalate a potential violent encounter.
You will learn what the defense spray is made of and how it works. You will be provided simple skills and tactics to safely deploy, defend and retain your pepper spray. Further, this training addresses the legalities of using force which can enhance your decision making about when and how to deploy this personal defense tool.

We will be using inert sprays only during the duration of the course.
Course Prerequisite:
- Must be a US Citizen or Immigrant Green Card holder.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must speak and understand fluent English.

- The effective range and how to deploy it against a violent aggressor.
- How to keep someone from taking it and using it against you.
- How to decontaminate if you get sprayed.
- What the effects feel like, so you know how to survive getting sprayed.
