International Visitors
Welcome, International Guests!
Bellevue Gun Club extends a warm welcome to our international visitors from across the world. We understand that many of you have little to no access to firearms education, but you're enthusiastic about experiencing it in a responsible and safe environment. That's why we've created the International Challenge - an opportunity for you to learn and enjoy shooting in accordance with Washington State's legal parameters.
Event Details:
The International Challenge is a friendly and casual event designed to provide an accessible experience for international visitors. You can participate on a walk-in basis from Monday to Friday, without the need for an appointment. Please note that we do not hold International Challenges on Saturdays or Sundays.
Requirements:
- English Fluency: At least one person in your group must be able to speak and understand English fluently, without the assistance of a translator. This requirement is crucial for our Range Safety Officers to communicate safety protocols effectively. We do have limited staff who are fluent in Mandarin available on certain days of the week to assist.
- Valid Passport: Every participant must bring their legal and valid passport. Please note that we do not accept photocopies of foreign passports, foreign driver's licenses, work visas, or any other documents as substitutes.
- Liability Waiver: All participants must fill out a liability waiver before participating in the International Challenge.
What to Expect:
- Liability Waiver: When your group arrives at our range, you'll be asked to complete a liability waiver. This is a standard procedure to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Check-In: Once the waiver is completed, our friendly range staff will check-in your party and ensure you have all the necessary items to enjoy your time on the range. This includes helping you select a firearm to shoot.
- Firearms Training: A Bellevue Gun Club Range Safety Officer will be available to teach your group how to safely handle, load, unload, and fire a firearm as needed. Safety is our top priority.
- The International Challenge: After your training, the International Challenge will begin in the shooting bay. Every member of your group will have the opportunity to shoot at a target, and the Range Safety Officer will score your targets.
- Safety and Assistance: Throughout your visit, the Range Safety Officer will remain available to assist your group as necessary, ensuring your experience is safe and enjoyable.
