Level 103 - Another physically demanding and fast-paced course that is simply a continuation of our Intermediate Carbine class. In this course we will dive deeper into the operation of the rifle and parts replacement or modification. On the range we will review some of the concepts previously taught in an effort to further hone your skills. We will then go beyond these skills and begin to adapt them to the use of cover, movement and lowlight scenarios. You will not want to miss this course.
Pistol-caliber carbines are allowed in this class.
Course Prerequisite:
- Must be a US Citizen or Immigrant Green Card holder.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and legally able to possess a firearm.
- Must speak and understand fluent English.
- Must have taken Intermediate Carbine, or Carbine-Handgun Transitions and/or possess the equivalent skill set.
- Minimum skills/knowledge required:
- Strict adherence to range/firearms safety.
- Solid knowledge regarding the operation of your rifle (loading/unloading/safety/malfunctions/maintenance).
- Safe and efficient gun handling practices.
- Speed & accuracy in shooting.
- Multiple shot engagement.
- Be honest with yourself in regard to these skills. These skills are gained through dry practice at home and time spent on a live fire range.

- Moving with and defending loved ones inside of a structure.
- Economy of motion/ efficiency of movement.
- Shooting concepts.
- Clearing malfunctions.

Equipment Requirements/ What to Bring to Class:
- Valid ID and/or Immigrant Green Card (if applicable).
- Quality zeroed rifle (with iron sights/optic) and a mounted, two-point sling.
- Small flashlight or weapon mounted light (and extra batteries, just in case).
- 400+ rounds of brass-cased, copper-jacketed ammunition (no M855/SS109 “green-tip” ammunition).
- 3+ magazines.
- Magazine carrier/pouch (to hold 2+ magazines).
- Eye and ear protection.
- Cleaning/repair kit and lubrication (recommended for general use/need).
