Jomel Mapa is a California-born Executive Security professional and United States Marine Corps veteran with over 12 years of experience protecting people, assets, and organizations. His journey began in the Marines, where he spent five years serving in both infantry and nuclear weapons security, developing a deep passion for rifle and pistol marksmanship, small-unit tactics, and hands-on leadership. Over the course of his career, he has trained more than 500 Marines and 250 civilians of all backgrounds, sharing not only technical skills but also the discipline, mindset, and confidence required to excel in high-stakes environments.
Jomel has continually expanded his expertise through advanced security and tactical training, including Marine Combat Marksmanship, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Emergency Medical Responder certification, and the Marine Martial Arts Program. He has led teams securing critical assets, supported training companies across the Pacific Northwest, and contributed to developing new standards in small-unit tactics. These experiences have given him a unique perspective on leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure—skills he brings to every mission, whether on the range, in the field, or in a corporate security setting.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jomel is deeply committed to personal growth and community. He is an endurance athlete and marathon enthusiast, a professional photographer, and an active member of his local church. He values family above all and takes pride in mentoring others—whether in security, marksmanship, or life—helping people of all backgrounds grow their skills and confidence. Known for his integrity, dedication, and ability to connect with others, Jomel is someone who leads by example, inspires those around him, and, as his niece insists, is the favorite uncle.
